The first annual “Women of Dedication” Awards Tea was held November 7, 2008 at the Chantillly Tea Room hosted by Major Estelle Clack and presenter, Tamara Mack to recognize the generous contributions of women in our community.
The Salvation Army has a 143 year history of Mission-driven service throughout the world. Women make up an integral part of this.
From serving equally alongside men in service and ministry, to serving along battle lines and in today’s Society, women lead with passion and dedication. Tucson is no exception. This award's event, put on by The Salvation Army Women's Auxiliary celebrates the tradition of women giving back to the community and their passionate service to others..
